Linux
The Linux distribution of MIFit+ is a gzipped tar file. Download it and unpack MIFit+ using the command tar zxf <MIFit.tar.gz> where <MIFit.tar.gz> is replaced with the actual name of the MIFit+ distribution file which was downloaded.
The user does not need to define any environment variables to run MIFit. The MIFit and MIExpert executables may be run directly. For example, <install-directory>/MIFit/MIFit where <install-directory> is replaced with the path to the directory in which MIFit+ was unpacked.
Windows
Download and run the installer. The installer will unpack MIFit+ into C:\Program Files\MIFit and create shortcuts in the Start menu and on the desktop.
To run MIFit, click on Start>Programs>MIFit>MIFit or double click on the MIFit icon on your desktop.
