MIFit Linux Troubleshooting

MIFit on Linux uses several standard libraries and current graphics drivers. Compared to Windows, Linux operating environments are rather diverse and there is a much greater chance that a required software component will be missing and MIFit will not operate properly. If MIFit fails to launch or is sluggish and unstable, the MIFit_log script can be used to collection information on the problem to help us diagnose what is wrong.

  1. Ensure the MIFit installation directory is in your path.
  2. Run "MIFit_log"
  3. Perform whatever actions are causing the problem.
  4. Close MIFit (if it hasn't already)
  5. Send the MIFit_log.out file to Bradley Smith

The MIFit_log script is included in distributions of MIFit 6 and later. For problems with earlier versions, we recommend upgrading to the newest version. Otherwise, please contact us.
